These days, Sean Waltman is one of the most honest pro wrestlers around. When he's reflecting on his own career, Waltman is able to hold his hands up, admit he was wrong and apologise. He did exactly that when talking with Rey Mysterio on his X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast - only the apology wasn't aimed at Rey.

After discussing a match the pair had on a special WCW Saturday Nitro on 28 June 1997, Waltman (then working as Syxx) said he was scheduled to drop the Cruiserweight Title to Chris Jericho moments after beating Mysterio. That's when he did a "pretty sh*tty thing".

Waltman, by his own admission, phoned in his second match of the night and failed to make Jericho look good by beating him. That's something he's happy to admit now, and he said it happened because he was more interested in working with Rey than anyone else.

It wasn't a long term problem anyway. Jericho dropped the belt just 33 days later to Eddie Guerrero at Fall Brawl.
