His snooty gimmick was 1995 ready, his in-ring skills were mechanically sound and he had the benefit of being a newcomer on a thin roster, but Triple H was not over when he first curtsied his way onto WWF TV. In fact, he wouldn't be truly over until joining Shawn Michaels in '97 and forming D-Generation X.

Justin Credible knows why.

The former ECW Champion was working as jock-strap wearing Portuguese dweeb Aldo Montoya when Hunter joined the federation, and he was the one tasked with guiding the future higher-up through some of his first matches. In total, Credible estimates they worked together between 40-50 times, including on an episode of Raw right before Trips was squashed by The Ultimate Warrior at 'Mania XII.

In a candid moment, Justin admitted he reported backstage that the newbie was nothing special. He couldn't see what all the fuss was about, and definitely didn't think that HHH could go on to become one of the most powerful men in the industry at the time.
