6. 'Woo Woo Woo' Started As A Tame Cat Call

That wasn't the only noteworthy tidbit of info Zack Ryder shared on Sean Mooney's Prime Time podcast.

His catchphrase, "Woo Woo Woo, You Know It" helped turn Ryder into a star post-Edgeheads tag-team with Curt Hawkins. When the line became a big part of his hit YouTube show, everyone started saying it in 2011-2012, even megastars like The Rock and John Cena. They likely didn't know the phrase's origins.

Ryder's trademark refrain started as an in-joke between he, Hawkins and other friends. Whenever they'd spot a good-looking girl out at a bar or passing in the street, they'd nod to one another and say "Woo Woo Woo" before laughing. Basically, those words splashed across Zack's video wall during his entrance are a cat call.

That's something WWE wouldn't want to acknowledge now. Public cat calling is rightly viewed as disrespectful to women in 2018, and it's hardly behaviour that's encouraged. To be fair, Ryder's line is tame, and it comes from his adolescence.
