One of the best things about Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast is that the former WWE ring announcer often brings out the personal side of her guests. They seem to feel comfortable sharing their life stories with Lilian, and Renee Young was no different.

As a child model who had to deal with the stress of her parents divorcing when she was still young, Renee refused to give up on her own dreams just because of a turbulent private life. That's an inspiring story, and it's one Garcia was gripped by.

Things reached an emotional peak in the interview when Young told how she stayed strong because her celebrity heroes usually had some sort of strange or "weird" upbringing. To her, that was an inspiring message that she should press on, keep the head and never give up on herself.

Besides, she'd have a story to tell or a book to write about her personal turmoil in someday. Having that tale to recant in later life kept Renee focused, and it made her realise everything would be alright in the long run.
