As referenced during the introduction to this article, the WWE Draft should feasibly open up greater chances for success on Raw and SmackDown. There are now - theoretically, at least - twice as many main event positions to fill in the company. That's ideal for men like Kevin Owens, who have been on the fringes for the past while.

Speaking to The National of Abu Dhabi, Owens opened up to share frustrations over the fact he hasn't become a permanent fixture in the top line scene thus far. There's a curious sense of kayfabe running through any KO interview, he rarely gives anything away, but his words here came across as entirely genuine.

For Kevin Owens, cracking into the main event mix is imperative during the second half of 2016. Previously, the man would have been considered an unlikely 'WWE Superstar', but he has clicked with fans more than many others despite his lack of towering physique.

There's obviously a degree of pressure being felt by Owens (that he's mainly putting on himself) to become a top name permanently in WWE.
