9. Big Cass Pretended To Be "Very Happy" In WWE

Pretty much any time fans saw Big Cass smiling in WWE, it was a lie.

In an interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin, Cass told how he'd constantly try to grin through mental anguish even though he felt tortured inside. He believed others in the locker room would judge him for opening up about mental health issues though, so he kept a poker face on whenever he was around the boys.

That's something he regrets now, if only 'cause 'pretending to be happy' made him even more depressed and heightened his social anxiety. This led to alcohol problems (a go-to coping mechanism towards the end of his run in the company) and left Cass feeling hollow whenever he'd have to paint a smile on his face.

The same was true when he was performing alongside Enzo Amore too, but the big man has finally found peace mentally. Opening up in interviews since leaving WWE and taking responsibility for his actions has made the renamed CaZXL a better man. Good on him.
