Dennis Rodman caught the eye of NBA scouts during his three seasons (1983-1986) at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. The young speedster was a monster at Centre, and he'd go on to become a wild man of the biggest league for the Pistons, Spurs, Bulls, Lakers and Mavericks respectively.

Get this: back when Rodman was playing in Durant, none other than Jim Ross called some of his games. Yep, one of wrestling's greatest ever announcers commentated a few of the future five-time NBA Champ's breakout performances at college. That's a pretty strange thought.

JR told this story on his new 'Grilling JR' podcast.

He said that Rodman showed superb skills on the courts even then, and he could see the young Jersey native had something special about him. Ross couldn't have known that Rodman would go on to dip his toe into wrestling or become a basketball Hall Of Famer however.
