2. The Sandman Made ECW's Crucifixion Cross

That subheading is literal. No joke.

When looking back on his core ECW run with The Hannibal TV producers, The Sandman revealed that he was the one who literally built the cross he and Raven used for a 1996 angle from scratch. He bought the wood, he bought the nails, and he hammered the thing together a few days before the show.

Sandman has always been interested in construction, and he also generously put together the scaffolding for a Tommy Dreamer vs. Brian Lee match. His love of building would come in handy at several other points for Paul Heyman's company, but none more so than the time he constructed Kurt Angle's worst nightmare in '96.

Most fans know by now that Angle was in attendance for the crucifixion stunt, and he was left absolutely appalled by what he'd seen. He likely doesn't even know that The Sandman built the thing with his own bare hands.
