The live crowd in Blackpool burst into life when Finn Bálor made a surprise appearance at NXT UK's TakeOver event to take on Jordan Devlin this past January. It was a fan-pleasing moment, and it must've felt good for Bálor to hear the beautiful Express Ballroom treat him like a God.

Looking on in the States, Drew McIntyre was jealous.

He told Snapmare Necks that the overwhelming success of Bálor's surprise NXT UK showing left him green with envy. The next time he saw Triple H, McIntyre told him that he'd have loved to be part of the show and shock the fans like Finn had.

Could this open the doors for a McIntyre match on the next NXT UK TakeOver? Don't bet against it. Drew has always championed the British scene, and has specifically pointed out in many interviews how good the scene is in his Scottish homeland.
