The moron who ran in on Bret Hart's emotional WWE Hall Of Fame speech for he and close pal (and Natalya's dad) Jim 'Anvil' Neidhart took a few punches from the likes of Dash Wilder for his troubles. WWE security were quick to hit the scene, protect Hart and move on. You won't believe what Bret thought about it all.

He was more concerned with making sure he could continue his speech than anything else.

Speaking to the media after showing off the new AEW Title at Double Or Nothing, the 'Hitman' admitted he "felt bad" for his attacker in Brooklyn. Once the initial shock of the ambush had worn off, Bret says he didn't feel threatened, and that's why he's sorry for the ass-kicking said intruder took from those sticking up for Hart.

Though WWE wanted to move on to the next induction ASAP, Bret was keen to continue his speech so he could pay tribute to a fallen friend properly. The whole incident was regrettable, but Hart doesn't think folks should feel bad for him.
