4. Paige Made Other Girls In FCW Cry

Paige was only a teenager when she waved goodbye to home, crossed the Atlantic and signed a developmental deal with WWE. Back then in 2011, women were very much regarded as token performers, and the 'Diva' tag is something Paige told Busted Open Radio never really bothered her. It was just the way things were.

Even so, she wanted to wrestle, not work bikini contests against swimsuit models.

In the first few months of her run in the old FCW promotion (WWE's forerunner to NXT, basically), she found out first hand that most females weren't there to get their hands dirty. This caused problems, especially when Paige was a bit heavy-handed during in-ring drills and caused several of her co-workers to break down into tears.

Paige was ten times more physical than anyone else, and her stiff working style didn't suit some of the dancers and models WWE had employed. She must have been delighted when faces like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks came through the door a year or so later.
