One of the most organic face-to-face promos in recent memory, an altercation between Daniel Bryan and The Miz on WWE's Talking Smack show had a touch of reality to it. Looking back over the footage, Bryan looks totally shocked as Miz tears into him verbally. Bug-eyed and eager to get his point across, Miz caused Bryan to walk away from the WWE Network set.

Talking to ESPN about the situation, Daniel stated that Miz and himself have always had a topsy-turvy relationship. Both view pro wrestling in entirely different ways, but that doesn't mean they haven't been friends more often than not.

Still, Bryan was incensed by Miz's evaluation of his retirement. At one point, Daniel told ESPN that he actually considered planting Miz with a punch to the face. That would have been a risky move, but it shows the passion that was flying between the pair as they locked eyes.

Thankfully, Bryan was able to keep his cool, because who knows where things would be if he had actually struck his peer for real.
