It's fairly well known that 2K Games draft in numerous independent wrestlers and former WWE performers to provide motion capture for their titles. For example, whilst he was under contract to TNA, Austin Aries would regularly work as a mo-cap artist, mimicking the movements of the WWE roster and helping make the job of developers much easier.

As a huge video game enthusiast himself, Xavier Woods told Comicbook.com that he tries to avoid playing new WWE games before release. That said, he did have a funny conversation with former WWE talent Trent Barreta, a man who gave his talents to 2K for WWE 2K17.

Texting the New Day member, Barreta told Woods that he was sorry if he butchered his entrance. Tickled by the notion of his real-life friend having to pretend to be him, Xavier asked to see the video game entrance scene for his tag-team.

During the interview, Woods relented that he couldn't stop laughing because he could see clearly that it was Trent dancing for his in-game character. It's interesting to guess which other characters Barreta was asked to play.
