During the opening segment of Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley grilled Stephanie McMahon on her knowledge about the return of Triple H. In the midst of the promo, Foley talked about meeting Stephanie for one of the first times immediately after his Hell In A Cell bout against The Undertaker at King Of The Ring 1998.

Bloodied, battered and beaten, Mick (as Mankind) was touched by McMahon's concern for a fellow co-worker who was going through personal trouble. Looking innocent and full of hope, Stephanie has since grown into one of the most powerful women in pro wrestling today. Still, that moment has never left Foley's mind.

Via Twitter, Mick claimed that this wasn't some made up tale to try and add emotion to the skit, it was 100% genuine. Right after suffering some of the most alarming bumps of his entire career, Foley was taken in by Stephanie's manner.

Of course, the pair would be at loggerheads many times when Cactus Jack and Mankind battled Triple H, but it's cool to learn that the subject matter of Mick's promo on Raw was completely real.
