Eyebrows were raised when it was announced that none other than Hulk Hogan would personally induct 'Macho Man' Randy Savage into the WWE Hall Of Fame the night before WrestleMania 31. For years, Hogan and Savage had shared a tumultuous relationship, and there had been rumours for the longest time that they didn't make peace before Randy's untimely death in 2011.

Giving WWE his blessing, Randy's brother Lanny Poffo also granted an interview to CYInterview.com about the Hall Of Fame ceremony in 2015. According to Lanny, his mother was far from pleased that he seemingly went against his brother's wishes. The Macho Man had previously requested that his entire family be honoured by WWE.

Instead, he went into the Hall Of Fame individually as a posthumous induction. In a striking moment of the interview, Lanny said he put his foot down and said as the man of the house he would make the key decisions. In his mind, it was only right that Randy Savage's legion of fans were given the chance to celebrate his career together, but he had a job convincing his own mother that it was the right thing to do.
