Anyone who lived through it will tell you how much of a low point Santino Marella's 'Miss. WrestleMania' win at 'Mania XXV was for women's equality in WWE. On the grandest stage imaginable, a man pretending to be his sister scooped the attention. Santina Marella was born, and it sucked.

Santino, during an interview for the Prime Time podcast, said that he could only do his best with the idea because Vince McMahon found it hilarious. Despite only being planned as a one-off, the boss liked Santina so much she stuck around. At least the guy has a funny story to share about his time in drag.

Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger was in the house for 'Mania XXV, and she was surprised to spot the burly Marella in one of the make up chairs. When making small talk, probably because she was oblivious to his work away from the drag gimmick, the singer asked if Santino was a cross-dresser full time outside the ring.

That made him laugh.
