10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week

9. Sycho Sid Now Has A WWE Legends Deal

Given the fact that Sid Eudy had multiple tenures in the WWF and WCW, it's perhaps surprising that it's taken so long for him to get a legends deal with WWE. During numerous interviews, the former 'Sid Justice' has remarked that he'd love to work under Vince McMahon again, because his time with his company was the best of his career. This week, Eudy signed a fresh contract with the promotion. At 55 years of age, this deal obviously won't involve a whole lot of wrestling. Sid did appear on an episode of Monday Night Raw in 2012, beating Heath Slater in a squash. This had been his first appearance on the show since 1997, but with the signing of this contract there's room for more showings going forward. The main crux of Sid's deal is that he's now available for use as an action figure again. Later this year, he'll feature in a legends set alongside Sting. In addition, Sid will be more available for public appearances and autograph signings under the WWE banner. It's unclear whether or not WWE will want the man to wrestle, but there are fans suggesting this paves the way for a WWE Hall Of Fame induction.
