Here's another 'Swoggle fact.

As a kid, lil' Horny dabbled in some backyard wrestling action. He and some friends would crudely throw together matches and do their best to live out grappling dreams. Whereas most kids doing the same were only "working" bouts for fun and emulating their heroes, 'Swoggle and pals ended up getting pretty serious.

One of the guys on the roster worked for a local TV outlet in Wisconsin, and he somehow managed to convince the station to put the amateur promotion on television. No joke, Hornswoggle's backyard fed got a time slot on telly. What's more, the average age of the roster was between 12-13 years old.

This means that Hornswoggle made his televised debut in the late-90s during the Attitude era. Wrapping one's head around that is mighty difficult when considering that the legendary WWF vs. WCW 'Monday Night Wars' were raging on at the same time.
