Take a moment to think of the celebrities WWE drafted in as guest hosts and stars on Raw a decade or so ago.

Names like Jeremy Piven ("Summerfest"), Bob Barker and Ozzy Osbourne instantly spring to mind. Vincent Kennedy McMahon wasn't interested in meeting any of them. Nah, the boss waited patiently to meet The Muppets instead. They were more his thing.

During a must-listen interview on Edge and Christian's podcast, Hornswoggle recalled seeing Vince toss down his headset at Gorilla, march over to the cast of puppet-based characters and introduce himself to Kermit and the gang. If that's not the kind of visual that'd make one question their sanity, nothing is.

It makes more sense than one might think. Vince was born in 1945, and The Muppets rose to fame in the mid-50s by appearing on the Sam & Friends TV show when he was still a kid. That childlike glee took over Vince's body. He couldn't wait to say hello to Miss. Piggy, and those Muppets remain the only guest stars McMahon snapped a pic with.
