If you're a longtime TNA/Impact Wrestling fan, then prepare to have your mind blown.

Speaking via his 'X-Pac 1, 2, 360' show, Sean Waltman revealed that he and Scott Hall were innocently responsible for the Carter family purchasing the entire company. That wasn't their sole intention, but they were asked by Jerry Jarrett to sit in on a call and sell their passion for the wrestling industry.

The Carters were impressed by how vigorously Hall and Waltman explained the need for competition in the biz and an alternative to Vince McMahon's WWE monopoly. After hearing their side of the story, Dixie's parents agreed to invest and take over. The 1-2-3 Kid and Razor Ramon are the ones to thank for that.

Jerry also deserves some credit for recognising that Hall and Waltman could articulate their love of professional wrestling outside WWE's walls. He wanted the Carters to put their money into TNA, and he knew those guys were the ones to sell it.
