Currently, Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart is signed to a rather interesting agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment. The deal - at least according to the company - disables other vendors from selling merchandise related to his image or gimmicks. This is something brought to light by popular t-shirt site, Pro Wrestling Tees. The website was contacted by WWE with a warning over their items. Pro Wrestling Tees act as a marketplace for professional wrestlers to sell their own merchandise, and claim they don't produce their own. Instead, they print what their clients ask them to, advised on designs by the wrestlers themselves. WWE have told them they must stop selling Jim Neidhart merchandise, because they have an exclusive merchandise deal with the retired grappler. What's interesting about this is that there is currently a real lack of Neidhart merch on the WWE shop website. It seems very random that the promotion would single out Neidhart, of all people, considering the likes of Steve Austin (a much bigger star) continues to use Pro Wrestling Tees.
