10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (16 Nov)

1. Ronda Rousey Didn't Know WWE Ran House Shows

Ronda Rousey must have known that she'd have a tough time transitioning away from punching people full force in the face to working those strikes instead when she traded MMA for pro wrestling. Still, at least in WWE she'd only have to work a maximum of one show per week, right?

Right!?

On the The PWI Podcast, Ronda admitted that she didn't know WWE ran non-televised live events before signing her contract. In her mind, the stars of Raw and SmackDown only worked on Mondays and Tuesdays before training for the rest of the week. It blew her mind to learn they often wrestled between three-four matches on the road away from the cameras.

Once Rousey found that out, she just got more worried about how she'd be perceived. She knew she wouldn't be asked to work a full-time schedule, and that made her fret that others would view her as entitled or a 'tourist' in their company. She respects the roster even more than she already did for their graft.
