10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (16 Oct)
10. Seth Rollins Felt Like An Idiot Transporting 'Money In The Bank' Case
At the Pay-Per-View of the same name in July, 2014, Seth Rollins emerged victorious from the 'Money In The Bank' Ladder Match. This secured Rollins a future crack at the WWE World Heavyweight Title, and fit in nicely with the ongoing story. At that point, just like now, Rollins was the apple of The Authority's eyes. Of course, the man would go on to cash in at WrestleMania 31, winning the belt. Only then did he stop lugging around the actual briefcase, replacing it with the WWE Title instead. That was something Rollins couldn't wait to do, because he said the item was irritating to transport from city to city. With a title belt, wrestlers can easily store it away in their luggage. The same can't be said of the Money In The Bank briefcase, which is too bulky for bags. This means that the holder must carry it out in the open. Obviously, this attracts attention, and makes non-wrestling fans wonder why a grown man is carrying around such a garish briefcase. For Rollins, this was a hassle, because he felt stupid transporting the thing around with him.
