Fingers crossed you didn't skip instantly to this fact upon reading the intro. If you did, it's an easy moustache to make.

Sorry. That had to be done, not least 'cause it ties nicely in with a story former announcer Ken Resnick told on his Wrestling With History podcast. On the show's latest episode, Resnick went deep on his jump from the AWA to the WWF in 1986. After a cordial meeting with Vince McMahon, Ken had one of the more bizarre interactions with his new boss.

First, McMahon asked how much Resnick was making in the AWA. When he found out, Vince moved onto part two of his plan by asking when Kenny could start if he offered him more. Next, McMahon strolled to his desk, opened the drawer, pulled out a razor and said, "The bathroom is right over there".

Seeing what was going on, Resnick duely obliged, marched into the room and, in a 'Stars In Their Eyes' moment, came out a new man. Meanwhile, McMahon's secretary looked on slack-jawed. She couldn't believe that Vince had that sort of power.
