3. Eric Bischoff Regrets Losing Chris Jericho

Another wrestler who grew tired of life in WCW was Chris Jericho. Pitching ideas he felt could get him noticed, the Canadian soon realised that he was never going to be taken seriously as a main event level star, and decided to leave in 1999. The WWF were interested in him, and the rest is history. Chris Jericho managed to achieve all his headline dreams in the WWF/WWE.

At the time, Eric Bischoff had a lot on his plate. The former WCW boss says he regrets not taking the time to listen to Jericho's ideas, because a lot of them were good. Over the years, WCW shipped out a lot of talent who would go on to become success stories elsewhere. The likes of Triple H, Steve Austin and Mick Foley are all remarkable examples.

For Jericho, the final straw was when his wife bought his WCW action figure. Instead of the receipt noting that she'd bought his doll, it said she had purchased a Hulk Hogan and Sting twin set. Of course, this meant they got the royalties from the sale, not him. It's not hard to see why Jericho became disheartened by what was happening in WCW.
