Those WWE Women's Tag Titles might be handled about as gently as the average stress ball, but they mean a heck of a lot to Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. The real-life chums are happily holding them for now, and they'll hopefully give the belts some much-needed stability for the rest of 2019.

When the pair won them, Nikki didn't know what to think.

She told Lilian Garcia's 'Chasing Glory' pod that she experienced weird conflicting emotions on the 5 August episode of Raw. On one hand, she'd dreamed of becoming a champion in the company since she was a little girl growing up in Scotland. On the other, she'd always been told that reaching WWE was only the start of her journey, so she was mindful of keeping it together.

That contrast between childish joy and professionalism didn't mix well, and it's why Cross looked like she might burst when referee John Cone handed her one of the new-ish titles. Nikki, caught between happiness and characterisation, didn't know what to do.
