6. Seth Rollins Knew He'd Be First Shield Member To Win World Title
It's a credit to all concerned that The Shield is so fondly remembered by fans. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins made a big splash as a collective, and have all gone on to become vital parts of the WWE roster as singles stars. Since splitting however, Rollins has tasted the most success. To date, he is the only former member of The Shield to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. WWE performers have to be keenly aware that everything they say to the media is picked up on. During an interview to promote the success of SummerSlam, Rollins revealed that he knew he'd be the first member of The Shield to win a World Title. The man failed to elaborate much on the remark, but it appears that he had some prior knowledge over a main event push before winning the belt. Eventually, Seth would hoist the WWE Title above his head at WrestleMania 31. It was previously told that he only found out a few short hours before winning the belt that he'd be doing so, but his recent comments muddy the waters somewhat. Seth Rollins knew he'd be the first out of Reigns, Ambrose and himself to be handed the title.
