Arrow star (and one time wrestler at SummerSlam 2015) Stephen Amell was not a fan of the Batista vs. Triple H feud. He tweeted out that the whole escapade was the kind of "celebrity angle" he didn't want to see on the card at WrestleMania. Yes, that is a bit rich considering he worked a WWE pay-per-view, and that fact wasn't lost on Batista.

He slid right into those DMs.

On Lilian Garcia's 'Chasing Glory' podcast, big Dave claimed he and Amell had a courteous-if-slightly-tense exchange via private message. Batista knew the actor was only speaking his mind, but he didn't think it was professional to crap all over a storyline that meant so much to him personally. This, privately, was a match Dave knew was his last.

He also didn't want fans being influenced by Amell's words and going into 'Mania 35 with preconceptions about the bout's validity. So, Batista fired off a quick DM and let his fellow thespian know that he didn't dig the mini-burial.
