8. Briscoe Brothers Not Signing With WWE

For years, stories have been floating around the internet that The Briscoe Brothers are only a hair's breath away from signing with WWE. This long-running tale has occasionally been discarded, only to be picked right back up and explored once more - it seems people really would love to see what both Mark and Jay could do in NXT, for example. During a recent video, the real-life brothers announced that they had decided to re-sign with Ring Of Honor, putting pen to paper on brand spanking new 2 year contracts which would tie them with the organisation until the Spring of 2017. Clearly comfortable in Ring Of Honor, the future would have been uncertain in the broader world of WWE for both men, and it seems they've decided to pass up the opportunity.
