When Hornswoggle was unveiled to be the 'Anonymous' Raw General Manager in July 2012, millions of wrestling fans groaned. The revelation came across as cheap, almost like WWE didn't have a plan in place for the mystery character that dominated Monday nights from June 2010, and wanted to quickly move on.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard this week, the former WWE star said he'd love to do the angle over again, because the company actually had grand plans for his GM role.

Revealing previously unknown information, Hornswoggle said that he was supposed to be GM all along, and would actually begin showing a new side of his character. Set to be cast as a mini-mob boss with a "Napoleon complex", he was also going to throw his power around recklessly before being dethroned.

None of this happened, and the entire story was left on WWE's cutting room floor. That's something Hornswoggle regrets, because he feels it could have been the most special part of his entire run.
