8. Vince McMahon Warned Damien Sandow About His Miz Impersonations

On the subject of imitation, the entertaining Damien Mizdow character created by Damien Sandow in 2014 did temporarily resurrect the man's flagging WWE career. Tagging along with The Miz and copying everything his tag partner did, Sandow proved to be a riot in the role.

Sadly for him, the single most important man in WWE was far from a fan of the character, and actually warned Sandow that he should be mindful of going too far.

Speaking via Sean Waltman's X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast, the former WWE and TNA star revealed a backstage chat he had with Vince McMahon that let him know exactly how well his new gimmick was going over with the WWE office.

Approaching his employee after just a few weeks in his new role, a stern McMahon told Sandow to do whatever he liked, but also reminded him that he would 'pull things back' if they got out of hand. Nodding his head, the wrestler was left with no choice but to agree with his boss and keep a lid on the gimmick.
