If anybody is entitled to talk about fledgling young talent, it's Jake 'The Snake' Roberts. Fighting against his own self-doubt to even become a pro wrestler, Roberts became one of the most brilliant minds the industry had ever seen. His lyrical promos were only matched by a stunning grasp on in-ring psychology.

It'd be easy for someone like Jake to be ultra-critical of today's product, but he does see some hope for the future. Namely, Roberts is a huge fan of Kevin Owens.

Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard recently conducted an interview with Jake, during which the WWE Hall Of Fame inductee stated his admiration for Owens.

Not mixing his words, Roberts said that the current star has "something special" about him. In the same passage, he also praised Bray Wyatt as an excellent talker, but kept most of his acclaim for Owens.

Jake Roberts isn't the first legend to admire Kevin Owens, but he has now said that the former Intercontinental Champion is "must see" and refreshing due to his soft, realistic look.
