Social media was awash with two different schools of thought following John Cena and Nikki Balla vs. The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33. There were those who felt Cena's proposal to Nikki was yet another beautiful 'Mania moment, but others thought the segment was forced and had an odd feel amidst scattered booing from the live audience.

None of that concerned Cena, because he told Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard that it was one of his most important career moments.

Whilst expressing his love for Bella and saying she's his inspiration, the polarising WWE poster boy also said the proposal meant more to him than major matches against The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII and XXIX; this may be another dig at Rocky from Cena, although the pair reportedly mended fences personally after working together throughout 2012 and 2013.

Still, it's strange to hear Cena compare such vastly different occasions.
