KOMania III was almost very different...

Jeff Hardy has zero regard for his own body.

How else could bumps like his SummerSlam Swanton Bomb onto the ring apron, or a similar stunt through a table on the latest SmackDown be explained? At 40, Jeff is as carefree about causing himself serious bodily harm as ever. That Swanton onto a prone Randy Orton might not have happened, however, had disaster struck in 2001.

Back then, Hardy lay on an arena floor believing his career was over. Find out what bump caused thoughts of retirement and wheelchairs to go flying through Jeff's mind, and why he was so concerned, in this week's article. Of course, the usual range of other wrestling-related facts we didn't know last week are here too.

Here are some questions to ponder: Which main event star almost turned heel before SummerSlam 1998? Who did Vince Russo want to cast as Eric Bischoff's son towards the end of WCW's shelf life? What did Kevin Nash tell Booker T when he was trying to sell him on a role in the nWo?

Also, who told Stacy Kiebler she shouldn't pose for Playboy?

10. Ember Moon Was Bullied For Liking Chess

There's a simple reason why Ember Moon is such a big fan of WWE's 'Be A Star' campaign: she, just like some of the kids she now tries to help, was bullied as a kid. However, there's a very good chance most of the children Moon talks to can't empathise with part of her plight.

She was picked on for liking chess.

On Lilian Garcia's 'Chasing Glory' podcast, Moon revealed that she was bullied for the way she looked, for liking video games, for being too small and for growing up on the "wrong side of town". All of that was typically petty, but the chess thing is the most unique and remarkable reason why she was the centre of attention for bullies.

If WWE don't immediately write some backstage segments with Ember outsmarting others on the board, then there's no justice in this world. Seriously though, the chess admission came totally out of left field. Even Lilian wasn't expecting to hear that strategy games got Moon threatened at school.
