The Q&A sessions Edge and Christian do on their podcast are often the most fun episodes. There's a relaxed vibe to their shows that make them stand out, and it's clear they both enjoy answering fan questions. One of the best recent answers came from Edge. He hated that 'Spear! Spear! Spear!' chant WWE tried to get going.

It was all Vince McMahon's fault.

According to Edge, Vinnie Mac repeatedly told him that he had to encourage the chants from fans as he was winding up for the move. Not only that, Edge himself was tasked with starting the chant by shouting it himself as he crouched in the corner and wore a maddened expression on his face. The whole thing, to him, felt a bit desperate. Edge remembers looking out over the crowd during his WrestleMania XXVI match against Chris Jericho and knowing his disinterest in the idea was smeared across his face.

Eventually, much to Edge's relief, McMahon gave up on the babyface rallying cry idea completely.
