Everyone remembers how kick ass The Hardy Boyz were back during their peak run, right? Matt, Jeff, Lita and Shane were something special, and their 'Team Xtreme' exploits inspired a generation of young fans to wear skater pants and weird mesh-type-things on their arms.

Wait a minute, who the hell is Shane Hardy? That'd be Shane Helms, otherwise known as The Hurricane.

He posted on Twitter to reveal he once filled in for Jeff on a house show as "Shane Hardy". The younger sibling was stuck on the road when his car broke down and couldn't make it to the arena in time. So, thinking on their feet, Matt and Helms decided that he should become an honorary Hardy Boy for the evening.

Helms didn't say exactly when this happened or where, but did add that Shannon Moore was stuck on the highways of America with Jeff. Fans in Whereversville USA got a unique treat that night, though they'd likely have preferred the real deal.
