1. Bayley Broke Down In Her Hotel Room After Battleground Debut
Now a firm fixture on the Monday Night Raw roster, Bayley was still officially an NXT talent when she appeared on pay-per-view at Battleground in July, 2016. Teaming alongside Sasha Banks to face Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke, the babyface was victorious in the bout.
Talking to Total Wrestling Magazine about that time, Bayley said that she had to constantly remind herself throughout the day of the show that this could be a one-off gig. She hadn't been drafted to either Raw or SmackDown Live yet, so there was no reason to get carried away.
That didn't stop Bayley from bursting into tears later in the evening.
Holding herself together before and after the match, it wasn't until the lifelong fan shut her hotel room door that emotion bubbled to the surface. Breaking down and crying with joy, Bayley was overcome with the fact that she had just made her full pay-per-view debut as part of the WWE main roster.
There's something nice about Bayley's honesty here, she was thrilled to fulfill a childhood dream.
