It's no secret that Jim Cornette isn't fond of much that's presented on screen in the professional wrestling world nowadays. Very much entrenched in an old-school way of thinking, the legendary manager, announcer and creative mind believes wrestling has become akin to a video game. Big bumps and spots rule over sound in-ring psychology.

This was the crux of Cornette's recent chat with Total Wrestling Magazine. Running down much of what we see on screen in WWE, Jim did save some praise for one of NXT's most prolific tag-teams. Namely, Jim Cornette really likes what he's seeing from Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, collectively known as The Revival.

In the interview, Cornette compared Dash and Dawson to both Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Spending some time in the WWF during the late-1980's, Anderson and Blanchard were called The Brain Busters and worked as a no-nonsense unit. That's very much how Cornette sees The Revival.

Should The Revival read Cornette's words, it's likely they'll be flattered. There are certainly worse comparisons that can be made.
