Since debuting this past August, Talking Smack has become a real gem on the WWE Network. Airing straight after SmackDown Live, the Network-exclusive show aims to analyse what happened on the blue brand's latest edition and allow stars some time to hone their verbal skills with lengthier promo segments.

Daniel Bryan has been a firm fixture on Talking Smack since the beginning, the SmackDown General Manager has butted heads with guys like The Miz on several occasions during episodes. This has made for entertaining programming, something Bryan himself was quick to recognise when granting an interview to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast.

Remarkably, Bryan also said he often gets caught up in the moment when on camera and says things WWE's production team would rather he didn't. At several points during each episode, Daniel claims he hears someone asking him why he said something via his ear piece.

Ignoring this, the SmackDown GM says he simply wants to shine the spotlight on the wrestlers themselves. He feels the best way to do that is to be somewhat controversial, letting talent fire back and run with it.
