Whenever WWE revisit the careers of Trish Stratus and Lita, don't expect them to focus on matches like the tag-team 'Bra & Panties' effort from Invasion 2001. That WWF vs. WCW (the latter represented by Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler) match is exactly the kind of thing they want fans to forget ever happened now.

It might have become famous for more than boobs and ass had Lita not swooped in to save Stratus' bacon.

Post-match, the pair celebrated on the ramp as the announcers prepared to throw backstage for a promo segment. Right before the cameras cut, it's possible to see Trish almost falling off the split ramp before Lita pulls her to safety. According to both in a new interview with Ring The Belle, there was no padding in the hole at all.

That means Stratus could have been badly hurt had Lita not spotted her slipping off the edge. The accident would've put a dampener on the moment, and it could easily have resulted in Trish being benched by injury for a few months.
