Older wrestling fans will recall the events of WCW's Slamboree 1998 pay-per-view. Before the show, Eric Bischoff announced on Monday Nitro that he planned to fight Vince McMahon at the event. A clear publicity stunt, this was designed to call McMahon's bluff and see if WCW could cash in on the WWF chief's ego.

Of course, Vince didn't show up on enemy territory and Bischoff was awarded a phoney win by forfeit. Nowadays, Eric laughs about the situation on his Bischoff On Wrestling podcast. Joined this week by Ernest 'The Cat' Miller, Bischoff listened as Miller described his thoughts at the time on what might happen.

According to The Cat, Eric Bischoff would have completely dismantled Vince McMahon in a real fight. The former wrestler and martial artist apparently thought that then and he still thinks it to this day.

Citing Eric's genuine background in martial arts, Miller said that even though McMahon would have the advantage in size he wouldn't be able to take down a real life fighter in the long run.

It'd be interesting to see which other former WCW stars feel the same.
