AJ Lee's stint on the main WWE roster was relatively short in the grand scheme of things. After a run lasting between 2010-2015, the female wrestler herself took the bold decision to retire from the ring less than a full week after WrestleMania 31. She hasn't been seen since on WWE television.

This year, AJ plans to release a book about her life and career. The book's title will be, 'Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules' and features some eye-opening self-reflection from the former 3-time WWE Divas Champion.

Most tellingly, Lee opens up to reveal a childhood diagnosis that changed her entire life. AJ was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in her youth. She hasn't shared that with fans up until now. Via her official website, the ex-wrestler detailed her battle with mental illness in a special excerpt from the upcoming book.

AJ confirmed that her mission is to help assure others suffering from Bipolar Disorder that it's alright to seek help and be open about any issues.
