4. Lana Used To Write Herself Self-Hate Notes

Rusev's story couldn't hope to match his wife's tale.

On the same pod, Lana piped up to tell how she'd often scribble little "self-hate" notes and pin them above her bed as an aspiring ballet dancer. The school she attended in Russia was that brutal, and it led to Lana developing eating disorders and thinking she was fat.

That's a sickening thought, especially when learning she weighed only 90lbs during her time at the school. Watch Lana on WWE television and you'll see a gorgeous, confident woman who turns heads wherever she goes. The last thing you'd imagine is that she once jotted down agonising messages like, "I'm a fat cow" and, "Don't eat until you reach this".

The story somehow gets more depressing when hearing that Lana would keep her eating problems away from her mother. She didn't want her parents worrying, and wanted to follow in her mum's footsteps so, so badly (Lana's mother was also a ballet pro) that she kept it quiet.
