The name Neil Pruitt might not mean a great deal to even the most hardcore of WCW fanatics. Pruitt worked as a producer on Nitro and is most famous for providing voice clips for the nWo's trademark entrance music; as a side note, he was also the announcer who disparaged WCW stars during the nWo Souled Out pay-per-view in January, 1997.

Pruitt has his own podcast, and through that (Secrets Of WCW Nitro, look it up) he's able to disclose exactly how much influence he had on one of wrestling's greatest ever factions. For example, Neil, inspired by gangs who tagged their territory on the streets, suggested that the New World Order start spray painting pieces of the WCW set and other wrestlers.

The idea caught on, and it remains one of the nWo's best-remembered traits. The producer claims he was also behind using garbage trucks during the Souled Out opening.

He probably shouldn't take credit for that one.
