10. Bayley Accidentally Stumbled Upon Character
Currently, Bayley is loving life as the NXT Women's Champion in WWE. Her matches against the likes of Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and others have been critically lauded, and it seems she has a very bright future should the company elect to promote her to the main roster. Her character also stands out as something different. Bayley is a classic babyface, and plays a gimmick which seems to present her as a WWE super fan more than anything. This isn't an accident, but the actual persona did come about due to experimentation. Talking to The Green Bay Press Gazette, the NXT star said she was struggling to come up with a good character during promo class, but stumbled upon her current guise. Bayley is portrayed as a hard-working and cute 'girl next door' type, rather than a bitchy female like so many of the other Divas. It's interesting to know that the woman herself didn't have many ideas for her future, instead accidentally coming across the successful character she now plays.
