As the story goes, The Undertaker wasn't exactly thrilled with his WWF career in 1999-2000 and contemplated a change in scenery. That, realistically, would've meant a jump to WCW; it's important to note that this has never been proven. Rumours were born from claims made by Kevin Nash in a shoot years ago.

Eric Bischoff has some claims of his own. He said on his '83 Weeks' show that he might not have known what to do with 'Taker anyway.

Bischoff makes a valid point. WCW wouldn't have been able to use the legendary 'Deadman' gimmick, and so The Undertaker would probably have had to revert to his old 'Mean' Mark Callous name. That didn't carry the same weight as 'Taker did with wrestling fans, and Bisch feels it may have been a hard sell.

Further, Eric was never a big fan of booking larger guys. He'd struggled to find consistency when writing for The Giant (Big Show), and Kevin Nash had become WCW's go-to big man. The only thing he could think of is that he might've feuded 'Taker with Nash.
