1. Why Edge Knew He Had To Keep A Straight Face During HBK's Botch

The 9 May 2005 episode of Raw was a slightly embarrassing one for Shawn Michaels.

During his entrance, HBK's ring jacket got stuck in between panels on the stage, and he was forced to awkwardly yank at it before giving up and removing the jacket completely. Meanwhile, WWE cameras cut away as quickly as they could to Edge mid-ring, and the heel knew he had to hold it together.

On E&C's Pod Of Awesomeness, Edge said he did everything in his power not to laugh at Michaels' botch. He was aware Kevin Dunn and the production guys would peel away from HBK and show him waiting for his opponent, and so he told himself to focus on the match and remind himself it was a prestigious 'Gold Rush' Tournament Semi Final.

Lord only knows how he managed to keep a straight face. Nobody else did, even Michaels, and some fans were visibly chuckling in the front few rows. Somehow, Edge kept a poker face and didn't sell the silliness of HBK's wardrobe malfunction.
