Those tuning into the final segment on this past week's Monday Night Raw would have noticed a trickle of blood running down Bill Goldberg's forehead. Whilst delivering his promo, Goldberg also seemed a tad out of it. There was a simple reason for that, he had knocked himself loopy by head butting a locker door backstage.

Trying to explain away why he was acting so odd and mumbling through his segment, the star claimed that the fans had knocked him off his game. This was a thinly-veiled excuse, Goldberg was legitimately shaken by what had transpired on his way to the ring.

Later on Twitter, the former World Champion said that he would be eliminating any and all head butts from his pre-match routine. During an interview with Steve Austin for his podcast, Goldberg had admitted to being a passionate guy. It looks like that enthusiasm went too far this time.

Goldberg has been slamming doors and head butting things for years, that's set to change. Expect big Bill to be a bit more careful next time.
