Fans old enough to recall 2001 will remember Justin Credible, Albert and X-Pac forming the X-Factor stable and convincing exactly nobody they were the next D-Generation X. The group felt second rate at best and wouldn't last long before disbanding. Credible attributes some of that to his own self-doubt.

Appearing on pal Sean Waltman's X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast, Justin revealed he had hangups from his previous stint as the masked Aldo Montoya in the WWF. After being ridiculed by fans for wearing what looked like a jock strap on his face and pretending to be Portuguese, Credible found it hard to forget his past and focus on the present.

Solid run and complete reinvention as Justin Credible in ECW or not, he couldn't shake fears that WWF fans would pigeon hole him as the loser Montoya all over again. Due to that niggling doubt, he didn't show how much he had improved as a performer and was eventually released again in 2003.
