4. Al Snow Used 'Head' To Vent His Frustrations

Al Snow loved having 'Head' with him at all times when recording promos or rehearsing things backstage with others. That mannequin head enabled Al to say anything that was on his mind without fear of repercussion from those backstage. Why not? His character was supposed to be insane anyway, so he was encouraged to be outspoken.

That's where things get interesting. According to Snow's comments during an interview with Wrestling Inc, he would use Head as a sounding board and vent his frustrations to the dummy. Al knew nobody would suspect a thing because his gimmick was nuts, so he often let loose and babbled to Head that he wasn't happy with creative direction.

Even better was the idea that fans could pick up on Al's annoyance during promos. Without expressly blaming creative, he could shift focus for terrible ideas from himself and some watching would be in the joke. That's genius, and Snow claims it helped him get through some awful stuff on screen.
